LIFE IN COLOUR invites you to play with the expression of the table. It could be a lunch table in the shade of an apple tree, a celebration of summer birthdays, or a light breakfast in the morning sun.

Influencer and interior expert Trine Kjaer shares this approach and describes her love for the Confetti collection: “I love colours, and I love setting the table with them. It adds a very special energy to a table, and it is always a great conversation starter.” She encourages experimenting and not being afraid to mix colours and patterns: “It is like setting the table with flea market treasures. It creates a personal and unique expression, where every combination tells its own story.”

A universe full of possibilities

The universe consists of four collections, each with its own character. Confetti is the foundation, featuring porcelain tableware, cutlery and placemats. Art brings lightness with glassware in a delicate and airy expression, while also adding colourful details. Lido represents the new and simple, with steel at the centre, while the collection by Karim Rashid introduces graphic shapes and modern colour blocks. The four collections can be freely combined, opening up for both everyday moods and special occasions.

The Confetti collection was launched in 2023 and today consists of nine different porcelain pieces in 11 colours, giving a total of 99 tableware items. The colours have been carefully selected in collaboration with designer Karim Rashid and the Pej Group to ensure a wide appeal. According to aida’s CEO, Peter Maae Jensen, it was a conscious decision from the very beginning to create a collection that could be mixed and matched in countless ways: “We see that people love experimenting with combinations. Some choose light pastels, while others prefer the deeper, darker tones.”

It is precisely these many possibilities for mixing and matching that make it possible to set the table for all of summer’s moments with a personal touch.
