Would you like to add an extra touch to your table setting? A bow made from a napkin can be a sweet and beautiful detail that will catch your guests’ attention. And before you think it sounds a bit too complicated, don’t worry – we will guide you through it. We promise it is so simple that almost anyone can do it.
All you need is a napkin and a stylish napkin ring. We use a linen napkin from RAW and a gold-coloured RAW napkin ring. Start by folding the napkin into a square, as shown in the picture below. If you are using a RAW linen napkin, the square will equal one quarter of the napkin.
Next, fold two parallel sides of your square towards the centre so that your napkin takes the shape of a rectangle. In the picture below, we have shown how it should look.
Finally, place the napkin ring in the middle of your rectangular napkin. Make sure the folded edges meet at the centre on the back side. As you can see in the picture below, this creates a beautiful bow that can be placed on the plate and add a decorative touch to your table setting.
